Efectivamente, Exxon Mobil junto con Petrobras (Petroleo Brasileiro SA) y la empresa estatal de Qatar adelantaron un pago de $844 millones para adjudicarse los derechos de exploración y producción (E y P) de un bloque del yacimiento Campos. Exxon y sus socios no son los únicos en obtener derechos de E y P en los bloques delimitados por el gobierno brasileño.
